We're Halfway There - 3 More Days Until the MFT January Release!

Hello and welcome back! We're half way through the countdown for the new release from My Favorite Things and this release is filled with all things LOVE!

For my card today, I used the new Heart Air Balloon die to create a colourful rainbow balloon and a clean and simple card design.

I die cut the balloon pieces from white card stock and then I used my Copic markers to colour everything in. I then added some simple clouds to the background with the Mini Cloud Edges stencil and layered a stamped sentiment on top of the balloon.

4 More Days Until the MFT January Release!

Hello! I'm back today with another card to share featuring the new January release from My Favorite Things. The new release will be available on January 12 at 10 AM EST, so make sure to set those alarms!

For my card today I used the adorable bears from the new Stacey Yacula stamp set and paired them with the Sending You Hugs Die-namics.

I love to add an image to a word die and I thought these bears looked super cute over the 'u' in hugs. To finish the card I also added a sentiment strip that I stamped and embossed with a sentiment from the new Bitty Hugs & Kisses stamp set.

The MFT January Release Countdown has Begun!

Hello and welcome back! Today is the start of the MFT January release countdown and I have a bright new card design to share perfect for Valentine's Day!

I used the new Bitty Hugs & Kisses stamp set to create the row of sentiments strips - I stamped them on black card stock with Versamark ink and heat embossed them with white embossing powder.

To create the background, I used a new stencil design coming later in the countdown ;) and blended on my rainbow colours using blending brushes and Distress inks in my favourite rainbow colours.

5 Days Until the MFT Stamps December Release!

Hello and welcome back! Today I have a new card to share for the My Favorite Things December release countdown. I am in full on Christmas mode so I decided to use the new I'll Love You Forever stamp set and create a heartfelt holiday card.

I stamped out the adorable elephant image and used a mask I made with a square die to make sure the frame didn't stamp around the image and then I coloured them in with grey Copic markers, bringing the colour out to the edge.

After I stamped the images I added a die cut wreath around them with the Joyful Wreath Die-namics and then layered it on a panel I stamped with the Buffalo Plaid background. I completed the card with a sentiment from the Bitty Holiday Wishes stamp set, stamped on a Skinny Strip Die-namics.

Thanks so much for joining me today! The new products will be available on December 8 at 10am EST at mftstamps.com. :)

4 More Days Until the MFT September Release!

Hello and welcome back to the MFT September release countdown! We're sharing projects all week long featuring all of the new products from the upcoming September release.

For my card today I used the new Christmas Cardinals stamp set to create a classic and festive design. Last year I was so inspired by my friend Carissa's idea to use small pieces of Christmas music as backdrops on her holiday designs that I immediately one and saved a bunch to use on this years cards. I thought the cardinals would be perfect for this look!

I adhered the sheet music onto a red card base and then I layered a piece of vellum over top. I stamped and die cut the cardinal and holly branches and then I adhered them over the vellum to create my scene.

For the sentiment I used the Bitty Holiday Wishes stamp set and continued with some of the lyrics from the song featured on the music and layered it over a gold sparkle strip to add some fun sparkle.

To complete the card, I added some sequins and shiny stickles to them and the white parts on the cardinal.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! See you tomorrow for more countdown fun!

It's Time to Countdown to the September Release from My Favorite Things!

Hello and welcome back! It has been so long since I've been on here sharing cards and it's good to be back! Today we are kicking off the countdown to the My Favorite Things September release so it's about to get very festive around here. :)

For my card today, I used the new Present Time stamp set from Birdie Brown, along with the Sending Christmas Joy Die-namics to create a simple card with a bold sentiment.

I die cut the sentiment from Tropical Teal, Razzle Berry, Limelight, Summer Splash and Wild Cherry and then I created a colourful greeting by adding multiple colours throughout.

I replaced the 'o' in Joy with a snowman from the Present Time stamp set and coloured the stocking to match the die cut letters. To complete the card, I added a stamped sentiment from the Bitty Holiday Wishes stamp set and layered it onto a snow hill the I die cut with the Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I'll see you tomorrow for more countdown fun!

The MFT June Release is Here!

Hello and welcome back! Today I have a new card to share from the My Favorite Things June release that's available now! There are so many great summer products including lots of new stamps, dies and stencils plus 3 new paper pads!

For my card today I wanted to feature the new Foiled Frames - Sqaure Die-namics so I paired them with an image from the newest Stacey Yacula stamp set called Hooray Kind of Day.

I used two of the square frames and created a double border with aqua foil and then I built the scene over top by adding the stamped and die cut image along with a stamped sentiment directly on the panel and a few clear droplets for some added dimension.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoy the June release and find something fun to create with! :)
